George B. (Red) Long
George B. (Red) Long, 83, of Howard, died Friday, May 25, 2001 in Centre Community Hospital, State College.
Born Jan. 9, 1918 in Howard, he was the son of the late Bernard and Mary Hinton Long.
Funeral services will be 10 a.m. Tuesday in the Walnut Street Church of Christ. The Rev. Wes McElravy will officiate. Burial will be in Schencks Cemetery, Howard Township. Friends will be received from 7 to 9 p.m. Monday at the W. Robert Neff Funeral Home, 837 Main St., Howard.
The family suggests memorial contributions be made to the Walnut Street Church of Christ Building Fund, P.O. Box 465, Howard, Pa. 16841. |
