- Theresa M. Confer
February 1, 2022
State College, Pennsylvania - Theresa M. Confer, 82, passed away peacefully, due to complications of COVID, surrounded by her daughters on February 1, 2022 at Westminster Woods at Huntingdon (The Oaks). She was born at home in Arcadia, Indiana to the Rev. Chester and Mildred Crowell who preceded her in death. Her husband of 50 years, Dean R. Confer preceded her in death in 2008 as well as her sisters, Earlene Hankins and Rebekah Tuttle and her brother Robert Crowell. Surviving are her daughters, Denise L. Rhoads and her husband Bryan Rhoads and her youngest daughter, Pamela Kay Williams. Also surviving are her grandsons, Cameron Dean Rhoads, Brandon John Townsend, and Bradley Dean Townsend and one great grandson, Grayson Emery Townsend. Her one surviving sibling, Beverly Bumgardner of North Carolina. She had many nieces and nephews that she treasured as well.
Theresa never met a stranger. She loved to socialize, watch her game shows, work word search puzzles and listen to her gospel music. She spent many years taking care of seniors in their homes, and they loved her. She will be sorely missed.
At Theresa's request, there will be no services.
The family has asked, respectfully, for complete privacy during this time.
In lieu of flowers, you may send donations to Westminster Woods at Huntingdon (The Oaks). The loving care all of these wonderful people gave her will never be forgotten and we will treasure them always. On-line condolences www.kader-neff.com
