- Doris (Barto) Stine March 11, 1932 July 31, 2014 Doris (Barto) Stine died on July 31, 2014, at the home of her daughter in Warriors Mark surrounded by her children. She was born March 11, 1932, in Marengo, the daughter of Carrie (Ellenberger) and Elmer Barto. On June 10, 1951, she married Donald E. Stine who preceded her in death on August 13, 1974. She is survived by her children, Karen E. Burd (Rick), of Germantown, N.Y., Diane S. Hartman (Gary), of Port Matilda, Donald E. Stine, Jr. (Ann), of Philipsburg, and Valorie Truax (Dan), of Warriors Mark; 11 grandchildren; and seven great-grandchildren. She was preceded in death by four sisters, Madeline Neidigh, Harriet Gensimore, (Frances) Mae Stine, Christine Adams; and seven brothers, Clarence, Leonard, Elmer, Lawrence, Elwood (Chubby), C. Harold, and Calvin Barto. After raising her family she worked at BarFarm Country Store in Stormstown and BiLo Foods as a kitchen manager for 22 years. She loved reading, crossword puzzles, and spending time with her family. She was a member of Ross United Methodist Church. Friends will be received at the Bruce E. Cox Funeral on Sunday, August 3, 2014, from 12 p.m. to 2 p.m. Services and burial will be held at the convenience of the family.
