- Harry M. Murtorff, 64, of 237 N. Allegheny street, Bellefonte, died suddenly at the Hotel Milton in Milton yesterday at 11:33 p.m.. He died oa a heart attachk. Mr. Murtorff who was employed by the H. C. Prutzman Hardware Company of Altoona, as a representative, was accompanied by his wife. He was ill over the weekend but resumed his work early this week. Mr. Murtorff was born in Scotia Oct. 10, 1885, a son of Calvin and Mary Farber Murtorff. His first wife, the former, Viola Robb, died about five years ago. His second wife, the former Helen Miller, whom he married Dec. 19, 1948, survives. He leaves a sister, Mrs. May Pennington, State College, and a brother William of Harrisburg. A well-known resident of Bellefonte most of his life, Mr. Murtorff was employed by the former Potter-Hoy Hardware Company for 20 years. He was an owner of the former Bellefonte Hardware Co., and was empooyed by the O. A. Kline Hardware Company before accepting the positon with the Prutzman Co. He was a member of the Bellefonte Methodist Church, the Elks, I.O.O.F., the United Commerical Travelers and was a founder of the Sycamore Club. Funeral services will be held at the Kuhlman Funeral Home, Monday at 2 p.m. with Rev. L. L. Owens officiating. Burial willbe made in the Union Cemetery. Friends may call at the funeral home from Sunday noon.
