- BLANCHARD - Ira T. Miller, 44, who had been a semi-invalid at his home for the past 15 years, died yesterday at 1.45 p. m. in the Lock Haven hospital. He became ill last Friday and was admitted to the hospital Monday. Death resulted from pneumonia. Mr. Miller was born here, son of Clell Miller who died eight years ago, and Mrs. Sally Pletcher Miller who survives. He was a member of the Church of Christ and attended faithfully when he could. He was also a charter member of the Beech Creek-Blanchard Fire Co. Surviving in addition to his mother are two sisters, Mrs. Helen Murtorff, Blanchard, and Mrs. Thomas Shay, Howard; also two nieces, Mrs. Joan Scott, Bellefonte, and Mrs. .June Gardner, Snow Shoe.
