  	KIPTON – Hazel Louise Cook, age 80, of Kipton died July 18, 2011 at Elyria Memorial Hospital. She was born on September 14, 1930 in Howard Pa., and has lived in Kipton for over 40 years. She had worked for the Telephone Co. for many years. She was a member of the Church Of The Nazarene in Vermilion and an active volunteer at the Senior Center in Oberlin. She loved to read and work on crossword puzzles. She is survived by her sons Carl (Beve) Cook, of Elyria, Daniel (Nan) Cook, of Gainesville, Ga., Timothy (Sylvia) Cook, of Cleveland, Rick (Jackie) Cook, of Clayton, N.C., sister Sylvia "Sis" (Dick) Eckhardt, of Calif., brothers Lee Sathre, of Fla., Larry (Nancy) Sathre, of Brunswick, Harold Sathre, of Brooklyn, OH, Ronald Sathre, of Olmsted Falls, eight grandchildren, nine great-grandchildren and many nieces and nephews. She was preceded in death by her husband of 56 years Clarence "Cookie" Cook, her parents Louis and Hazel (Pletcher) Sathre, a daughter Sharon, and a brother Carl Sathre. Friends may call on Wednesday July 20 from 6:00 to 9:00 at the Morman Funeral Home 16 Cooper Street, Wakeman. On Thursday there will be visitation from 10:00 am until the time of services at 11:00 at the Church of the Nazarene, 14907 Kneisel Road, Vermilion. Pastor David Johnson will be officiating. Burial will follow at Camden Cemetery outside of Kipton. In lieu of flowers, memorial contributions may be made to either the church or the Oberlin Senior Center.
