Alphretta, Watta Called From Life
Crooksville March 20
Mrs. Alphretta Watts, 74, widow of Clarence A.Watts and a life resident of Perry County, died this afternoon at 145
(March 20) at the family residence here after a three month
illness of a heart ailment.
She was born in Thorn Township Perry County the daughter nf Charles and Alice Baker Swick and was a member of the First
Methodist Church.
Surviving are a son James o Crooksville, two daughters, Mr.
Pearl Penrod of New Lexington and Mrs. Alice Scarrett of Newark, nine grandchildren and six great-grandchildren,a
half-brother, George Spangler of New Lexington and an half-sister, Mrs. Minnie Dunn of Sandusky.
The body is at the Fred l.Cannon funeral home where friends
may call after 6 p.m. Thursday. It will be taken to the
First Methodist Church at 1:30 Saturday to be in state one
half hour until services are held at 2 oclock by the Pastor
Reverend Roy Ballard. Burial will follow at Crooksville
cemetery.
