  Obituary	Jane L Wilson was born in April, 1863 in Leidy, Clinton County, Pennsylvania, the daughter of Henry Wilson (1838-1905) and Luzernia Campbell (1838-1899). Her middle name was probably Luzernia, a name she acquired from her mother and passed on to her daughter Verna. In about 1877, at about age 14, she married George F. Manning. The two had eight children: Mary Edith Manning Pope Zacharias (1878-1953) Mina Alice Manning (1879-?) Emily Rhoda Manning (1881-1922) Bessie Luzernia "Verna" Manning Campbell (1884-1952) Charles Henry Manning (1886-1955) Cora Elizabeth "Lizzie" Manning Rooney (1889-1947) Eva Belle Manning (1891-1907) Caroline Beatrice Manning (1894-?) The couple lived in Leidy (1880 census) and later moved to Chatham, Tioga County (1900 census) where George died in 1904. Widowed at 41, she and youngest daughter Caroline had relocated to Stewardson, Potter County by the 1910 census. She died at age 51 on August 13, 1914, and was interred in Middlebury Union Cemetery alongside husband George F. and daughter Eva Belle who had died at 15 in 1907 of diabetes.
