  Harriet Ann Pletcher, 74, of Lock Haven, died at Lock Haven Extended Care Unit on Sunday, November 16, 2008. She was born in Howard, PA on November 6, 1934, daughter of the late Joseph C. & Ruth O. Devinney Pletcher. Harriet was an accomplished homemaker, was of the Protestant faith, was an avid soap opera watcher, and loved spending time with her grandchildren and great grandchildren. She attended Mt. Eagle School in Howard Twp. in her younger years. She is survived by her daughters; Theresa A. (Harry) Ramser and Donna K. Embick, both of Lock Haven, one brother, Joseph A Pletcher of Bellefonte, 6 grandchildren, 9 great grandchildren, and numerous nieces and nephews. She was preceded in death by a son, Carl L. Pletcher, brothers; James, John, and Carl, and sisters, Florence Pletcher and Janet Daughenbaugh. Funeral services will be held at the Helt Funeral Chapel, 232 Hogan Blvd., Mill Hall at 8pm on Wednesday, November 19, 2008 with Major Margaret Johnson officiating. Friends will be received on Wednesday, November 19, 2008 from 6-8pm at the funeral home. Interment will be at the convenience of the family in Blanchard Christian Cemetery, Blanchard PA.
