- HOWARD - Mrs. Lilie May Daughenbaugh, 70, died at her home at 11.30 p.m. yesterday after a year of illness. She suffered from cancer. She was a native of Tyrone, born June 2, 1888 daughter of Joshua C. and Alice Catherine (Monsell) Thompson. In 1918, she married Joseph R. Daughenbaugh and the family has lived here 40 years. Mrs. Daugbenbaugh was a member of the Evangelical United Brethren Church of this community. Her husband, a retired Pennsylvania Railroad employee, survives, also a son Thomas, Renovo; and three daughters, Mrs. Minnie Dieta, Blanchard; Mrs. Hazel Hanley and Mrs. Nellie Confer, both of Howard; 13 grandchildren; six great grandchildren, and a sister. Mrs. Clara M. Rhoades, Tyrone.
DAUGHENBAUGH - Services will be held Monday at 2 p. m in the Howard Evangelical Unit ed Brethren Church for Mrs Lillie May Thompson Daughenbaugh, 70, wife of Joseph R. Daughenbaugh, who died Friday, May 15, 1959, at 11.30 p. m. at her home in Howard. The Rev. George R. Kibbe of Sonestown will officiate. Friends will be received from Sunday noon until time for the services, at the Neff Funeral Home. Burial, Schenck Cemetery.
