  HOWARD - Joseph R. Daughenbaugh, 94, of Howard, Pa., died at 4:10 p.m. Wednesday in the Lock Haven Hospital. He was born Sept. 13, 1882 in Howard Township and was the oldest living resident of Howard. Mr. Daughenbaugh was married to the former Lillie May Thompson, who died in May, 1959. He was a retired Pennsylvania Railroad employee having worked as a clerk for 52 years. He was a member of St. John's United Methodist Church in Howard and belonged to the Brotherhood of Railroad Clerks. Surviving are one son, Thomas H. Daughenbaugh of Lock Haven; two daughters, Mrs. Hazel Hanley and Mrs. Mary Confer, both of Howard; one step-daughter, Mrs. Minnie Bietz of Blanchard; 13 grandchildren, eight great grandchildren and one sister, Miss Ida Daughenbaugh, of Howard.
