- Ed "Wally" Myers, age 90, passed away on Sunday, November 12, 2023 at Riverside Hospital. He is preceded in death by his parents, Charles and Mary (Yuske) Myers, his loving wife of 49 years, Judy Myers, his siblings, Betty Corrigan, Chuck (Jane) Myers, Pat (Jack) Cianflona.
He graduated from Aquinas High School and went into the Marine Corps where he proudly served our country during the Korean War. Ed also graduated from The Ohio State University with a Bachelor's Degree in Physics. He used his degree while working at General Motors for over 30 years as an Engineer. Ed was involved with the Grove City Kids Association as a coach and a referee for the soccer program. He coached his sons and many others over the years. Ed and Judy were also instrumental in getting Murfin Memorial Field started. He also enjoyed watching the OSU Buckeyes and hiking, eating chocolate from Anthony Thomas and drinking wine.
