  Obituary	Joseph S. Bergen Sr. Prudential vice president, Roseland resident Joseph S. Bergen Sr., 86, of Roseland, N.J., passed away peacefully at home, surrounded by his family, on Nov. 21, 2015. Funeral services will be on Wednesday, Nov. 25, at 9:30 a.m. from Farmer Funeral Home, 45 Roseland Ave., Roseland. The Funeral Mass will begin at 10 a.m. at Our Lady of the Blessed Sacrament Church in Roseland, followed by interment at the Immaculate Conception Cemetery in Montclair, N.J. Visitation will be on Tuesday, Nov. 24, from 4 to 8 p.m. at the funeral home. Memories and condolences may be shared at farmerfuneral.com. Born in Belleville, N.J., to the late Howard and Marjorie Bergen, Joe was a longtime resident of Roseland. He was employed by Prudential Insurance for over 39 years, retiring in 1991 as a vice president. Joe was a member of Our Lady of Blessed Sacrament R.C. Church in Roseland. He is survived by his wife of 58 years, Caryl (Dwyer); his sons, Joseph, John (Dot), and Bill, and grandsons, Dylan and Sean. He was preceded in death by his sons, Stephen and Thomas.
