  Obituary	Mollenkopf, Virginia Viewing: Tuesday December 17, 2013 from 10:00 AM to 11:00 AM Funeral: Tuesday December 17, 2013 at 11:00 AM Virginia Cheesman Mollenkopf, 100, of 16505 Virginia Avenue, Williamsport, MD, passed away, Thursday, December 12, 2013, at her home. Born Wednesday, November 5, 1913 in Newark, NJ, she was the daughter of the late Paul M. Cheesman and the late Emma (Weber) Cheesman. She was preceded in death by her husband Walter D. Mollenkopf in 1997. She graduated from Lock Haven University, where she was a member of Alpha Sigma Tau. In her professional years, she was District Director of Lycoming County Girl Scouts. She was a member of the Women's Club, and was a member of St. Ann Catholic Church. She is survived by her daughter Christine P. Tischer of Hagerstown, MD, son, W. Frederick Plankenhorn of Irving, TX, sister, Lois Galetti of Livermore, CA, grandchildren, Brian Plankenhorn of Hurst, TX, Michael Plankenhorn of Hurst, TX, Tracy Tischer of Annapolis, MD, Matthew Tischer of Hagerstown, MD, great grandchildren MacKenzie Plankenhorn of Hurst, TX, Christian Plankenhorn of Hurst, TX, Adam Plankenhorn, Grace Plankenhorn, Christine Pinto, and Summer Pinto She was preceded in death by her sister, Rachel Kauffman, brother, Paul Cheesman, and grandson, David Plankenhorn, and former husband William F. Plankenhorn. Services will be held Tuesday, December 17, 2013, at 11:00 am, at the Douglas A. Fiery Funeral Home, 1331 Eastern Blvd. North,Hagerstown, MD, with the Rev. Douglas Kinney officiating. Family will receive friends at the funeral home on Tuesday, December 17, 2013 from 10:00 am to 11:00 am. A special memorial service will be held for the friends at Homewood on Wednesday 18, 2013 at 10:30 in the Homewood Chapel with Pastor Jeff Shull officiating. Family will receive friends at the funeral home on Tuesday, December 17, 2013 from 10:00 am to 11:00 am. Interment will be at the Schenck's Cemetery, Howard, PA .
