NEW LEXINGTON: Arthur G. Penrod, 71, went home to be with the Lord at 4:35am on Tuesday, February 21, 2012 at his home surrounded by his loving family.
Born August 14, 1940 in Zanesville, Ohio to the late Arthur and Esther Pauline Dusenberry Penrod.
He leaves behind his loving wife of 51 years, Arlene K. Baker Penrod of the home; children, Candy Brown of Zanesville, Jeryl Clark of the home, Rick Penrod of the home, Shelley (Pat) Gable of New Lexington and Marty Penrod of the home; grandchildren, Angel (Brad) Creeks of Zanesville, Jennifer Marsh of GA., Joshua Jadwin of Zanesville, Jason (Jessie) Jadwin of New Lexington; Philip Clark of Somerset, Keith Moore of Malta, Travis Moore of New Lexington, Kyle Moore of New Lexington, Rachel Penrod of Zanesville, Shala Penrod of Zanesville, Jasmine Penrod, Jordan Penrod, Marty Penrod, Jr., Makalya Penrod, Madison Penrod, all of Malta; and Memphis Penrod of Shawnee; brother, Paul Penrod of New Lexington; two sisters, Barbara Bolden of Crooksville and Karen (Jack) Hinkle of New Lexington; 7 great-grandchildren and one on the way and several nieces and nephews.
In addition to his parents, preceded in death by, son, Jeremy Penrod; grandson, Bradley Penrod; Father-in-law and Mother-in-law, Raymond and Margaret Baker and sister-in-law, Donna Penrod.
Calling hours will be held from 2-4pm & 6-8pm on Wednesday, February 22, 2012 at the Roberts-Winegardner Funeral Home, 304 Mill Street, New Lexington, Ohio and from 11am-1pm on Thursday.
Funeral service will be held at 1:00pm on Thursday, February 23, 2012 at the Funeral Home with Pastor Larry Ruh officiating.
Burial will be in New Lexington Cemetery.
