- Harold D. (Tony) McCool, of 200 Wyndtree Court, Bellefonte, passed away peacefully on Sunday, Dec. 11, 2016, at Mount Nittany Hospital in State College.
Tony, as he was known, was born Aug. 23, 1933, in Potters Mills to the late Harvey D. McCool and Helen M. Snyder McCool. Tony is survived by his wife, Laura Jean Leathers McCool. He is also survived by a daughter, Adelaide Beth McCool Linn (Michael) and a grandson, Spencer Linn, from Lower Gwynedd.
After graduation, Tony joined the military serving his country in the U.S. Army in Korea for two years active duty and active Army Reserves for 20 years, retiring from the military with 22 years of service.
He was employed by Piper Aircraft for 29 years, retiring in 1984 as lead man of the electrical department.
His hobbies were wood crafting and fishing.
He was a member of Faith United Methodist Church in Bellefonte.

Tony’s service will be private at the convenience of the family and his internment will be in Schencks Cemetery in Howard.
