Mount Nittany Medical CenterObituary 29 May 2010 Centre Daiy Times - Virginia M. Dreibelbis, 86, of State College, died Thursday, May 27, 2010, at Mount Nittany Medical Center. Born Jan. 19, 1924, in Bellefonte, she was a daughter of the late Walter E. and Pearl G. Ruble Ray. On Feb. 5, 1944, she married Albert W. Dreibelbis, who died Oct. 29, 2009. She was a 1942 graduate of Bellefonte High School. She worked for United Rentals in State College. Previously she worked for Sylvania in Lock Haven. She attended St. Peter's United Church of Christ. She enjoyed going to yard sales, being with and taking care of her family, cooking and baking. She is survived by five children, Albert W. Dreibelbis, Jr. and his wife, Jo-Ann L., of Pennsylvania Furnace, Sylvia M. Storm and her husband, Glenn, of Lehighton, LeRoy E. Dreibelbis and his wife, Karen D., of Pennsylvania Furnace, Larry P. Dreibelbis and his wife, Lori, of Port Matilda, and Shirley A. Martain and her husband, Jaime, of Aaronsburg; 15 grandchildren; 19 great-grandchildren; two great-great-grandchildren; a sister, Caroline Regel, of Mount Eagle; and a brother, Joseph Ray and his wife, Kathleen, of Bellefonte; and numerous nieces and nephews. Along with her husband and parents, she was predeceased by a sister, Grace Heverly and a brother, Frank Ray. Visitation will be 6-8 p.m. on Monday, May 31, 2010, at Koch Funeral Home, 2401 S. Atherton St., State College. Funeral services will be at 11 a.m. on Tuesday, June 1, at St. Peter's United Church of Christ, Pine Hall, with Rev. Charles Fitzgerald officiating. Burial will be in Pine Hall Cemetery. Memorial contributions may be made to St. Peter's United Church of Christ, 1795 W. College Ave., State College, PA 16801, or to the American Heart Association , 501 Howard Ave., Bldg, D, Suite 101, Altoona, PA 16601.
