- Charles H. Lawson, 50, of Plympton, died Wednesday, Dec. 11, 2013 at the McCarthy Care Center in East Sandwich after a lengthy illness. He was the son of Patricia (Solomon) Lawson of Plympton and the late Stan Lawson Jr. formerly of Abington. He was born in Brockton on March 11, 1963 and grew up in Abington, graduating from Abington High School in 1981. He is survived by his beloved wife, Angela (Ferrante) Lawson and his two boys, Charles Jr. and Jonathan, both of Plympton. He was the brother of Cheryl Force of Abington, Shelia Lawson of Wareham, Stanley Lawson III of Florida, Irene Campbell of Taunton and Joseph Lawson of Abington. He was the brother in law of Dominic Ferrante and his family of Carver and 12 nieces and nephews he adored. Charles was a member of the Bridgewater 49s Club where he played Bocce, Rockland Sons of Italy and the Upland Club in Plympton. Visiting hours in the Sullivan Funeral Home, 2 Maquan St., at the corner of Rte 14 & 58 in Hanson on Thursday from 5 - 8 p.m. A Funeral Mass will be celebrated on Friday, Dec. 20 at 9 a.m. in Our Lady of the Lake Church, 580 Monponsett St., Rte 58, in Halifax (Monponsett). Burial to follow at Hillcrest Cemetery in Plympton across the street from Plympton Library on Rte 58.
