- Warriors Mark, Pennsylvania - John Mark Zimmerman, 51, of Warriors Mark, died Saturday, March 27, 2021, while working on the farm.
Born October 20, 1969, in Bellefonte, he was the son of the late Robert E. Zimmerman Sr. and Shirley M. Gilmore Zimmerman, who survives in Millheim. On September 25, 2010 he married Cinnamon Rudy, who survives.
In addition to his wife and mother, John is survived by three children, Lisa Butler and her husband Joshua of Milesburg, Mark Zimmerman and his wife Katie of Gatesburg, and CJ Zimmerman and his wife Mary of Centre Hall; one stepdaughter, Dallas Yasovsky of Pennsylvania Furnace; three brothers, David and his wife Lori of Aaronsburg, Todd of Blanchard, and Brett and his wife Heather of Aaronsburg; and seven grandchildren, Brayden, Sadie, Brantley and Emerson Zimmerman, Hadley and Holden Yasovski, and Adalyn Zimmerman. John was preceded in death by his first wife, Kathy Jo Rider, on April 5, 2008, whom he married on May 13, 1989; and a brother, Robert Zimmerman Jr., on December 5, 2015.
John graduated from Penns Valley Area High School in 1988. From 1989-2012 he was part owner of Ore Bank Acres Farm. He then was employed by Evergreen Farms.
He was a member of Gatesburg Lutheran Church, and the FFA and 4-H club while he was attending school.
Visitation will be 10:00-12:00 on Wednesday, March 31, 2021 at Koch Funeral Home, 2401 S. Atherton Street, State College.
Private graveside service and burial will be at Gatesburg Cemetery.
