    • Charles L. Dreibelbis M.D. October 5, 1968 December 17, 2017 Charles L. Dreibelbis, M.D., 49, of Milton, N.H., died Sunday, December 17, 2017, at his home unexpectedly. At this time, a cause of death is unknown. Born on October 5, 1968, in Bellefonte, Charles was the son of Albert W. (Jr.) and Jo-Ann Dreibelbis, of Pennsylvania Furnace. Charles graduated from State College Area High School in 1987, with Highest Distinction from The Pennsylvania State University with a degree in Nutritional Science in 1994, and from Thomas Jefferson University, College of Medicine, with a Doctor of Medicine degree in 1998. Charles was a family physician, most recently practicing at Salmon Falls Family Healthcare in Somers- worth, N.H., and was highly admired and appreciated by his patients, as evidenced by the number of heartfelt thank you notes and notes of appreciation he saved during his nineteen years of practice. Charles loved his family; loved spending time with family and friends and had a wonderful sense of humor. He had a love for animals since childhood; as a talented athlete in high school, he enjoyed sports and exercising; he was a true and loyal Penn State fan; and he enjoyed playing games (bingo, card games, board games), singing and performing karaoke, and collecting antiques. Charles was a Sergeant in the United State Army, serving as a food inspection specialist until his discharge in 1994, and was an Officer in the United States Navy until his honorable discharge in 1999. He served in the Gulf War. In addition to his parents, Charles is survived by his son, Christian, and his daughter, Leah. Also surviving are his maternal grandmother, Lois Barto; an older brother, Albert W. III and his wife, Lisa; a younger sister, Debra Thurley and her husband, Jonathan; five nephews: Albert W. IV, Chad, Cory, Graham and Parker; three grand nieces and nephews; and his best friend/roommate/ cat, Hugh. A Celebration of Life will be held on Wednesday, December 27, 2017, at 11:00 a.m., at the Pine Grove Presbyterian Church, Pine Grove Mills, Reverend Carl Campbell officiating. Memorial contributions may be made to the Pine Grove Presbyterian Church. A funeral will be held by the family at a later date.
