  	Wesley B. Lentz April 9, 2016 Williamsport Sun-Gazette Wesley B. Lentz, 85 of Williamsport, died Thursday April 7, 2016, at home. Wesley was born in Jersey Shore on Jan. 4, 1931, the son of Dr. Hugh H. and May B. Hirlinger Lentz. He graduated from Jersey Shore High School in 1948 and Lock Haven University in 1952. Wesley was very active in theater, sports and was an excellent trumpet player. He served honorably in the Korean Conflict in the U.S. Army. Wesley was employed at Avco, now Textron and retired from Sylvania, Phillips Co-operative as personnel director having worked at Hall's Station, Emporium and Ottawa Ohio. Upon retirement he and his wife, the former Catherine Brown, moved to Sebring, Fla., for 22 years prior to Catherine's passing in 2010. He decided to move back to Williamsport to spend his remaining years. He was preceded in death by his parents and his wife Catherine. He is survived by his children, David W. (Elizabeth), of Allentown, Douglas B. (Pamela), of Chambersburg, and daughter, Sandra M. (Roderick) Strother, of Hughesville. His nine grandchildren survive him as well as three great-grandchildren and his first wife, Marian A. Schaefer, of Hughesville. Services will be private at the convenience of the family. Burial will be in Oaklawn Cemetery in Warrensville.
