  	Lewis R. PLETCHER, 76, died Thursday, March 3, 1955 at home in Howard Township. He was a former employee on the highways and for the railroad. He was born in Howard Township on March 4, 1879, son of Nathaniel and Emmeline MANN PLETCHER. He was married February 18, 1911 to Amber Nadine NEFF, who survives. Also surviving are four sons and a daughter: Nathaniel, Howard; Robert who is in the Army stationed at Hunterville, Ala.; Harold, Julian; Thomas in the Navy at San Diego, Calif; and Mrs. Sylvia SHAFFER at home; brothers: Thomas A PLETCHER of Howard; Herbert and Blair PLETCHER of Howard are half-brothers. Member of Evangelical United Brethren Church. Burial Schenck's Cemetery.
