- Ellen Leah Holter (1881-1897): I can just remember her. She was a beautiful girl. She used to dress me. I wore short trousers. In fact, I graduated from high school in short trousers. As youngsters we wore long hairy drawers in winter and unless they were put on well down in the shoe they would form a bulge at the top of the shoe. Whe worked out sometime and was so pleasant thst every person liked her. I don't remember much about her. As you can see she died quite young.
