- Mary P. "Jane" Coelho, 87, of Merrimack, passed away on Thursday, September 5, 2024 at home surrounded by her family.
Jane was born in Ayer, Mass., to James and Lilian (Guthrie) Pender on April 18, 1937.
She graduated from Ayer High School in Ayer, Mass.
Jane worked in various office positions while her kids were in school, as well as many years with the Town of Merrimack, most recently as a Supervisor of the Checklist for over 20 years. She was a communicant of Our Lady of Mercy Church and a greeter for more than 15 years. Jane was a member of the Merrimack Senior Citizens Club, The Reeds Ferry Women’s Club, The Wendy’s Girls and until recently on the board of trustees of the John O'Leary Center.
Besides her parents, Jane was predeceased by her husband, James W. Coelho.
Jane is survived by her son and daughter-in-law, Tony and Bev (Lampen) Coelho; her three daughters and son-in-law, Louise and Don Pearson, Beth Lord and Kristin Coelho, all of Merrimack; four grandchildren, Stephanie Milton, Kelly and her husband Chris Serafini, Joe Lord and Devon Pearson, and four great grandchildren, Emma, Penelope, Lucas, and Isabelle all of Merrimack; her sister and brother in-law Martha and David Reilly of Ayer, MA; and many nieces and nephews.
Relatives and friends are invited to Jane’s visitation on SUNDAY, September 8th from 3:00 PM until 6:00 PM at OUR LADY OF MERCY CATHOLIC CHURCH, 16 Baboosic Lake Road, Merrimack. Her Funeral Mass will be held on MONDAY, September 9th at 9:30 AM at OUR LADY OF MERCY CATHOLIC CHURCH. Her interment will follow in Last Rest Cemetery, 7 Hillside Terrace, Merrimack.
