- James W. "Jim" Coelho James W. "Jim" Coelho, 86, of Merrimack, NH passed away on Saturday, March 30, 2013 at home surrounded by his family.
Jim was born in Fall River, MA to Antone and Margaret (Ainsworth) Coelho on June 30, 1926.
He graduated from BMC Durfee High School in Fall River, MA. Mr. Coelho was a US Army Veteran who served during the Korean Conflict.
Jim worked in the insurance safety field all of his career. He was a communicant of Our Lady of Mercy Church and a greeter for over 20 years. Jim was a member of the Merrimack Senior Citizens Club and until recently on the Board of Trustees of the John O'Leary Center.
Besides his parents, Jim is predeceased by two sisters Dorothy Medeiros and Patricia Gray, and his son-in-law Ronald Lord.
Jim is survived by his loving wife, of nearly 52 years, M. Jane (Pender); his son and daughter-in-law, Tony and Bev (Lampen) Coelho; his three daughters and son-in-law, Louise and Don Pearson, Beth Lord, Kristin Coelho, all of Merrimack, NH; Four grandchildren, Stephanie and her husband Daniel Milton, Kelly Coelho, Joe Lord and Devon Pearson all of Merrimack, NH; his sister Margaret Menard of Merritt Island, FL; a sister-in-law and her husband Martha and David Reilly of Ayer, MA and many nieces and nephews.
SERVICES: Visiting hours will be held at the Rivet Funeral Home, 425 Daniel Webster Hwy, Thursday, April 4, 2013 from 2-4 PM and 6-8 PM. A Funeral Mass will be held at Our Lady of Mercy Church, 16 Baboosic Lake Road, Merrimack on Friday, April 5, 2013 at 9:30 AM. Burial will follow at Last Rest Cemetery, Merrimack.
In lieu of flowers, donations may be made to St. Joseph Home & Hospice Care, 24 North River Rd. Milford, NH 03055.
