Bellefonte, Pennsylvania - Lois V. Way, 91, of Bellefonte, passed away on Wednesday, November 30, 2022, at Centre Care. Born on January 16, 1931, in Bellefonte, she was the daughter of the late John Lambert Steele, Sr. and Lydia (Curry) Steele. On September 26, 1958, she married her beloved husband, Robert Lee Way, who preceded her in death on February 11, 1997, after sharing over 38 years of marriage together.
Lois dedicated her life to taking care of her home and her husband.
She is survived by her two brothers, Stanley Steele and Christian Steele, nephews, Budd, John, and Tom Eckley and nieces Susan (Trisch) Facer and Lorna Triche.
In addition to her husband and parents, she was predeceased by sisters, Sara (Steele) Eckley, Rose (Steele) Triche, and brother, Jack Steele.
There will be a public viewing held on Monday, December 5, 2022, from 10-11 A.M., at Wetzler Funeral Service, Inc., 206 N. Spring Street, Bellefonte. Funeral services will begin at 11 A.M. with Rev. James Schomer officiating. Burial will be private at the convenience of the family.
