      ALLTON, MRS. CORA NEWCOMER, widow of Miller Allton-Aged 91 of Uniontown, R.D. (Old Pittsburgh Road) died Saturday, April 23, 1956 at 3 p m. In her home following an extended illness. Born in German township, October 11, 1864, she was the daughter of the late Samuel A. and Rebecca Jeffries Newcomer and spent her entire life in Fayette County. She was a member of the Third Presbyterian Church: class 13 Missionary Society and Menallen Grange 1091. She is survived by one son, Elzie Allton, Pittsburgh Road; ten grandchildren. She was predeceased by two daughters and one son, Eda Hagerty, Lena and Orville Allton. Friends are being received in the C. B. Dearth Sons Funeral Home, New Salem, until Tuesday at 2 p.m. the hour of service with Rev. C. Edwin Houk officiating. The family will receive friends today from 2-4 p.m. and 7-9 p.m. Interment will be in Church Hill Cemetery, McClellandtown. Members of Menallen Grange will conduct ritualistic services in the funeral home this evening at 8 o'clock. Pallbearers will be Russell Frost, Harry Brown, Earl Langley, Wilk Osborne, Harold Newcomer, Aaron Langley.
