Milesburg, Pennsylvania - Kay L. Walk, 76 of Milesburg passed away at her residence on Friday, February 25, 2022, surrounded by her family. Kay was born on September 20, 1945, in Lock Haven a daughter of the late Walter P. and Gladys B. Stainer Rupert. On June 6, 1970, she married Kenneth M. Walk who preceded her in death on January 26, 2017. Kay is survived by her daughter, Tina L. Doone and her son, Christopher M. Walk; also surviving are her 5 grandchildren, Ryan J. Kaltreider, Miranda Walk, Frances Walk, Kaitlyn Doone and Maxine Walk. Kay was employed at Centre Community Hospital for 25 years, and at Mount Nittany Medical Center in the pediatrics department as an LPN. Kay was a member of Grays Woods Church in Port Matilda. In addition to her parents and husband, she was preceded in death by her grandson, Derek Kaltreider.
Family and friends will be received on Wednesday, March 2, 2022 at The Dean K. Wetzler Funeral Home and Cremation Service, Inc., 201 Spring St., Milesburg from 1 PM – 2 PM with the funeral service to follow at 2 PM with Pastor Drew Foster, officiating. Burial will be in Centre County Memorial Park, College Twp., Centre Co. Funeral arrangements are under the direction of The Dean K.
