- H. Wynn Pletcher February 13, 1937-June 23, 2018 H. Wynn Pletcher, 81, longtime resident of Mifflinburg, most recently of Lewisburg, passed away Saturday, June 23, 2018 at Evangelical Community Hospital, Lewisburg. He was born on February 13, 1937 in Lock Haven, a son of the late Harold and Anna (Kovacic) Pletcher. On November 19, 1966 he married the former Linda Christ, who preceded him in death on November 28, 2002. Together they celebrated 36 years of marriage. Wynn was a 1955 graduate of Bald Eagle Area high school and served honorably in the United States Army. He later retired from the former W.M. Wagner Sales, Winfield. Wynn was an active member of St. Paul's United Methodist Church, Lewisburg, and enjoyed participating in volunteer missions. Wynn was also an avid gardener. Most important was his family and time spent together. Surviving are four children, Steve Pletcher and his wife, Michelle, of Mifflinburg, Krista Stephens, of Fairfax, VA, Nicole Farbman and her husband, Adam, of Hagerstown, MD, and Eric Pletcher, of Mountain Top; one brother, Jay Pletcher and his wife, Marie, of Blanchard; one sister-in-law, Janet Pletcher, of Bellefonte; and five grandchildren, Erika and Sarah Pletcher, Randy Connor Stephens, and Jack and Ella Farbman. In addition to his parents and wife, he was predeceased by one brother, Darl Pletcher. Friends and family will be received from 1 to 2 p.m. Thursday at St. Paul's United Methodist Church, 42 S. 4th St., Lewisburg, where a Memorial Service will be held at 2 p.m. with his pastor, the Rev. Daniel Wilt, officiating. Interment will be held privately in Lewisburg Cemetery. In lieu of flowers, memorial contributions may be made to St. Paul's United Methodist Church, 42 S. 4th St., Lewisburg, PA 17837.
