  Obituary	Roger Krueger Barnhart, 83, of Valparaiso, IN, and formerly of New Carlisle, IN, died Wednesday, July 22, 2015, at Avalon Springs Health Campus. He was born Jan. 1, 1932, in LaPorte to John Holt and Evelyn (Krueger) Barnhart. Roger was a lifetime member of American Legion Post 297, and a member of the New Carlisle Fire Department for 32 years. He served honorably in the U.S. Air Force. Roger never met a stranger and will be missed my many. He was the founder and original owner of Barnhart Insurance Agency in New Carlisle, IN. Surviving are his beloved wife, Patricia Barnhart of Valparaiso; daughters, Julie (Jim) Burke of LaPorte and Brenda Barnhart of Valparaiso; and granddaughter, Krystle Burke. He was preceded in death by his parents; brother, Ronald Barnhart; and grandson, Jimmy Burke.
