- Mrs. Viola Robb Murtorff, well known Bellefonte resident, died at 2:45 a.m. today at her home on W. High street of complications. Mrs. Murtorff, who had not been well for more than a year, suffered a stroke late last week while at the home of a neighbor. She was 60. Born in Milesburg, March 27, 1883, she was the daughter of Erasamus (Erastus) and Elizabeth Neumaker Robb. Her husband, Harry M. Murtorff, and three brothers and sister survive. Arthur Robb of Beaver Falls, Mrs. Grant Conley of Wilmerding, Fred Robb, living in Caliafornia and Joseph Robb of Detroit, Mich.. An only child, Eleanor Murtorff, died March 10, 1934. Mrs. Murtorff was an active member of the Bellefonte Methodist Church where she served as teacher of the Social Helper's Sunday School Class until becoming ill. She was a past president of the Women's Society of Christian Service, a member of the Eastern Star, the Woman's Club and served a term as
corresponding secretary of the organization. Funeral services will be held at the Widdowson funeral home, Bellefonte at 2 p.m. Wednesday with Rev. Harry V. Stenger Jr., officiating. Interment will take place in Union cemetery. Friends may call at the funeral home.
