- Laura T. Homan July 3, 1942 July 12, 2017 Laura T. Homan, 75, of Centre Hall, died Wednesday, July 12, 2017, at home. Born July 3, 1942, in Bellefonte, she was the daughter of the late John D. and Anna Houser Dreibelbis. On February 2, 1963 she married Robert L. Homan, who proceeded her in death on August 16, 2012. She is survived by three children, Daniel L. Homan and his wife Lisa, of Katy, Texas, Allen H. Homan and his wife, Amy, of Spring Mills, Sherri Lynn Homan, of Sanford, N.C.; one sister, Mae Judy of Centre Hall; one sister in-law, Barbara Dreibelbis of Centre Hall; five grandchildren, Seth, Jenna, Cole, Peyton and Lucas. In addition to her parents and husband, she was preceded in death by a son, Garen R. Homan on August 12, 1993; and her brother, J. Henry Dreibelbis. Laura was a 1960 graduate of State College Area High School. She retired as a Customer Service Representative from Omega Bank. Laura was a member of the St. John's United Church of Christ in Boalsburg. She was also a member of the Inter-county District Deputy Presidents Association, the Pamona Grange, the Baileyville Grange, the Lady Emily Rebekah Lodge #452, and the Odd Fellow Lodge #1032 in State College. She also had served as secretary of the Centre County Grange Fair. Visitation will be from 5 until 8 p.m., on Wednesday, July 19, 2017 at Koch Funeral Home, 2401 South Atherton Street, State College. An additional visitation will be from 10 until 11 a.m., on Thursday, July 20, 2017 at St. John's United Church of Christ, 218 North Church Street, Boalsburg. Funeral service will follow at 11 a.m., at the church, with the Reverend Monica Ouellette officiating. Burial will be in Pine Hall Cemetery. In lieu of flowers, memorial contributions may be made to or Central PA American Red Cross. Arrangements are under the care of Koch Funeral Home, State College.
