- Walter G. Dreibelbis August 16, 1940 November 29, 2016 Walter G. Dreibelbis, 76, of Warriors Mark, died November 29, 2016, at his home. Born August 16, 1940, in State College, he was the son of Lula (Bailey) Dreibelbis, who survives in Bellefonte, and John E. Dreibelbis. On September 1, 1962, in Centre Hall, he married Sarah (Sally) Fry, who passed July 11, 2008 He is survived by four children, Leanne R. Sible, of Tyrone, Bryan E. Dreibelbis, of Bellwood, Cheryl D. and husband, James Krebs, of Philipsburg, and Bonita Sue and husband, John Myers, of Julian; grandchildren, Kristen and husband, Chad, Jessie and friend, Glace, Savannah, Jacob and wife, Lacy; great grandchildren, Zachary, Logan, Breckin, Madelyn, Rowen; one brother, John, Jr., of Port Matilda; and four sisters, Sarah Lee, of Great Bend, Maude Young, of Bellefonte, Mary Lombardozzi, of Centre Hall, and Doris Horner, of Pleasant Gap. He was preceded in death by one brother, Gerald. He served in the Army in the 82nd Airborne Division. He worked for the Boiler Makers Union Local #154, retiring in 2002, following 46 years of service. He loved his family time, hunting, fishing and horseback riding. He was an avid Harley-Davidson enthusiast and participated in many charity rides. He was a member of the Blazing Arrow Hook & Ladder Fire Company. Funeral services will be Friday, December 2, 2016, at 11:00 a.m. at St. Peters United Church of Christ, 1795 W. College Ave. with Pastor Charles Fitzgerald officiating. Burial will be in Pine Hall Cemetery. Friends will be received at the church on Friday from 10:00 a.m. until the time of services. Memorial contributions may be made to St. Peters United Church of Christ, 1795 W. College Ave., State College, PA 16801. Services are under the direction of the Cox Funeral Home.
