    • Flora was the daughter of Simon and Inez Shastany. On February 2, 1910 she married Walter Chaffee, who died in 1960.

      She is survived by three sons, Richard, Edward (Ned) and Edwin (Ted); two daughters, Helen Chaffee and Priscilla Maslack; a brother Sidney Shastany; three sisters, Ruth Sisco, Edith Easter and Mary Cargill; 15 grandchildren and 13 great-grandchildren.
