- CLYDE L. CAMPBELL, 87 of 249 Campbell Rd., Trout Run died Saturday, July 28, 2001 in ManorCare South Complex, Williamsport. Born Feb. 19, 1914 in Cogan House Twp., he was a son of Walter H. & F. Edna Coolidge Campbell. His wife of 56 years, Josephine Casner Campbell died in November of 2000. He was a self-employed dairy farmer and was also employed by PennDOT as a Hwy. Supervisor. Clyde was a member of White Pine United Methodist Church. He enjoyed hunting and his family, especially his grandchildren. Surviving are a son, Thomas L. of Trout Run; 2 daughters, Doris Wampler of Orrtanna & Mary H. Stine of Trout Run; a sister, Mary A. Godman of Hatfield; 10 grandchildren and 1 great-grandson. He was predeceased by a daughter, Lois Campbell and a brother, Boyd Campbell. The funeral service will be held 11 a.m. Friday at The White Pine United Methodist Church, Rt. 184, White Pine with the Rev. Mark D. Brumbach officiating. Burial will be in the church’s cemetery.
